GMYN are also a hosting organisation for local and international Placement Students covering a wide range of courses and backgrounds. We can take placement students for short or long-term placements. Contact us directly for more information.

Money for Life Volunteer2018-06-26T19:31:55+00:00

Money for Life provides young people aged 16-25 with money management training, providing support with finances, budgeting and keeping money safe.

Commitment: Sessions are booked on an ad-hoc basis across Greater Manchester

Suitability: 18-25 – Role may be subject to an enhanced DBS check

Fundraising Volunteer2018-06-26T19:31:24+00:00

Volunteer required to support GMYN’s Fundraising Officer in co-ordinating and running fundraising activities and events to raise money to contribute towards GMYN’s ongoing work.

Commitment: Flexible – once a week to once a fortnight

Suitability: 16+ – Role may be subject to an enhanced DBS check

The programmes aim to help care experienced young people to build confidence, self-esteem and develop independent living skills through volunteering, positive activities and training.

Commitment: Weekly activities across Bury, Oldham, Salford, Manchester

Suitability: 21+ Role may be subject to an enhanced DBS check
