Youth charity Greater Manchester Youth Network (GMYN) have several 10k and half-marathon places available at the Simplyhealth Great Manchester Run on Sunday 19th May 2018.

Sign up today, take on the challenge, and help to raise funds to improve the lives of disadvantaged young people across Greater Manchester.

GMYN creates positive opportunities for 13 to 25 year olds with experience of care, unemployment, disability or other forms of social isolation. Last year, with fundraising support from the community, this work helped 738 young people take steps towards a positive future.

Our vision is #YoungPeopleCan

A care experienced young person on GMYN’s programmes, who ran in 2018, says,

“GMYN helps people who are in need, vulnerable or less fortunate. I did the 10k run because they helped me progress as a person and I wanted to give something back. Knowing that they’re always there for me is a big thing – I didn’t know there was anyone like that before. Fundraising for GMYN means that they can help even more people.”

#TeamGMYN welcomes individuals of all abilities to take part. For just a £10 registration fee, runners receive a fundraising pack, running vest and nutritional guidance, as well as fundraising support and training advice from GMYN.
