GMYN deliver the following projects:

Volunteering - co-ordinating vinvolved teams in Bolton, Bury, Manchester and Oldham to create youth volunteering opportunities and broker young people aged 16 to 25 into volunteer opportunties.

GMY Network (The Network) - providing an umbrella service to voluntary and statuatory youth organisations across Greater Manchester to promote quality work with young people and good practice sharing between member organisations.

GMYN are also involved in the following projects:

Education for Employment (E4E) - is focused on training and job placement support of disabled people in the Italy, United Kingdom, Hungary and Czech Republic with the main aim to improve their position on the labour market.

VALORI - is focused on the creation of a Job Facilitation Tutor within companies to support the employment of disabled people.

Liverpool Young Runaways website - we have been working with a group of young people to design a website for the Young Runaways Project based at NCH Liverpool Family Support Service.

Market-eze - a pilot project supporting older people living in sheltered accommodation to do their grocery shopping online through the development of a user-developed website.

Past Projects

Youth Action Network iGrants 08 Photography - we received a digital SLR camera and photo editing software, which we supported some of our young volunteers to use to create a photo banner for each vinvolved team to promote volunteering in their area.

e2058 - an EU Youth In Action Youth Initiative to create a film showing what young people in five different European countries think Europe will be like in 50 years time.

Millennium Volunteers (MV) - a government initiative that supported 16 to 24 year olds to volunteer for the benefit of themselves and their community.

Young Journalist Project - an eight-week course that ran from October to December 2007, funded by CN4M.
