Boots and Beats is a new project engaging 14-25 year olds in open access football and music provision.
The project aims to create a lively unique atmosphere for young people to have fun, socialise and engage in informal learning. The project’s underlying aim is to provide opportunities for young people to improve their life skills and employability.
Boots and Beats has been designed, developed and will be delivered by young people and will make a difference through football by empowering and enriching the lives of young people in the city to propel them to follow their dreams and find employment. The programme will incorporate free play, music and DJ workshops, performance space as well as accredited qualifications, enterprise workshops and volunteering opportunities.
Boots & Beats is one of six projects to benefit from Cityzens Giving funding through Manchester City Football Club.
