GMYN has three job vacancies available.

Deadline for all positions is Monday 5th June 12 noon.

boom-category-imageThe Boom Project is a fun and informal project for young people to learn about volunteering and to take part in different positive activities.

It’s a great opportunity to meet new people, work in a team, try something different, learn new skills and at the same time, you'll be helping other people and improving the image of young people in society. There are group activities and also one-to-one support.

The project is for 13 to 18 year olds who live in care, or are care leavers, from Bury and Oldham. Boom is funded by BBC Children in Need.

Young people on the project say “I have made new mates and tried new stuff”, “I feel more confident” and “I have had loads of fun”.
