GMYN is a not-for-profit social enterprise set up by a group of staff from Toucan Europe Ltd, which had been delivering successful projects for over ten years across Greater Manchester, the UK and in Europe. Toucan ended the majority of their work in April 2007. A small staff group wanted to be able to continue some of the good work they have been involved in at Toucan, as well as developing new projects, and so GMYN was born.
GMYN was set up by four like-minded individuals who have each brought different skills and experiences to the organisation. GMYN has recently expanded and now has ten members of staff:
